Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actor who is most well-known for her portrayal of Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of the AMC's period drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). Her work in the series has earned her critical praise and six Emmy award nominations in the category of best acting category for supporting actors. Through her 20-year career she also became known for her role in comedy dramatic Another Period, a crime drama called Tin Star. The films consist of Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers - Prey at Night Egg & American Woman. She has also recorded her voice on animated series like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! Her career began in modeling and she continued it throughout her career until she made her debut as a TV actor in Undressed which was a 1999 TV series. Her first substantial role came in the drama comedy series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her performance in the popular show Firefly. She was in 2010 voted the sexiest woman around the globe and was named the Best-Looking Woman within America by Esquire magazine.
